A former farmhouse of early 19th century origins, with notable later alterations, retaining historic character and fabric from both periods, contributing to the rural setting.

Circa 1870-1880 re-fronting. Later 19th century alterations include addition of Victorian Gothic dormers and flat-arched doorway.

The 1935 Ordnance survey map shows the associated farm buildings on site, all since demolished.
