Families associated with the property
- Jean: See datestone below
- Priaulx: In 1941 Adolphus Priaulx was living alone here. His application form for an Occupation identity card clearly shows his date of birth as 19 May 1849, but he was actually born on 19 May 1879, and baptised in St Ouen the following month. Why he would have added 30 years to his age, and why nobody spotted that he was 62, not 92 years old, is a mystery
Datestones
- 17 PI ♥♥ IGB 38 - For Philippe Jean and Jeanne Gabourel, who married in St Ouen in 1727
- 17 IP EGB 38 - HER shows this as a second stone but the Datestone Register makes it clear that this was a misreading of the other stone. There is only one datestone on the property and no connection with the Priaulx family in the 18th century
