Historic Environment Record entry
This is one of those old Jersey country houses, with possible 17th century origins, which somehow seems to have escaped listing.
Two-storey, four-bay house. South elevation has tourelle staircase and windows c1650-1750, unchamfered but retaining great bases. Gable wall is 5ft 6in thick. Likely early origins, possibly 15th century, with 18th century build phase. Shown on the Richmond Map of 1795.
Old Jersey Houses
Although there are no definite features by which to date this house, it appears to be early 16th century. The windows are small and uneven, and there is a tourelle of very simple construction. It has steep and narrow steps worn smooth by generations of owners.
