19th century drawings of Jersey
This lovely set of drawing of Jersey was published early in the 20th century as postcards. The origin and date of the drawings themselves is unknown, but they are believed to represent Jersey as it would have looked at various times in the 19th century

An early view of St Helier Harbour when there was only a single jetty below South Hill, clearly with insufficient room to accommodate all the vessels wanting to use it. Fort Regent has already been built.
