Historic Environment Record entry

Listed building

A good example of a late 19th century townhouse, retaining historic character with many original features surviving, contributing to the streetscape.

Three-bay two-storey house with attic. Pitched slate roof with brick chimneys.

Low rendered wall to street with tall central piers, ironwork gate and swan-neck railings (wall return added in 2008 with new tiling to pathway). Rear extensions.

The interior retains a good quality dog-legged staircase with mahogany turned balusters, handrail and newels with acorn caps and circles, but otherwise few original features to justify interior protection.
